In 1998‚ Jason Tsai established the Tsai Lau–Chi Charitable Foundation to support the integration of British and Chinese cultures and create a mutual understanding of their history‚ philosophy‚ arts and teachings.

The charity is funded by Entagroup and supports many organisations including The UK Telford Chinese School.

The UK Telford Chinese School

The UK Telford Chinese School started in 1994 to provide students from a variety of backgrounds with an education in Chinese culture. The student population is made up of a diverse mix of cultures within which only 15% of students are actually Chinese. Classes include Mandarin Chinese‚ Tai Chi‚ Mulan Fan‚ Feng Shui‚ caligraphy‚ traditional and modern dance and music and much more. Students regularly perform at local theatres and events and the school operates a number of workshops within local schools and colleges.

In addition to integrating British and Chinese culture within Britain‚ the school has proactively introduced aspects of British culture into Taiwan‚ producing a series of twelve books that focus on British design‚ from architecture to corporate identity.

The school is part funded by The Tsai Lau–Chi Charitable Foundation and works in conjunction with the University of Wolverhampton’s Chinese culture and research centre.

Other charitable activities

Jason also supports a number of local and national charities. Recently this has included ongoing support for the Telford Community First Responders who provide life saving treatment in the critical first few minutes of an incident and support for two gruelling 10 day walks along the Great Wall of China in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support and the Heart FM ‘Have a heart’. In June 2011 Entanet and EntaTech also went head to head in a charity Dragon Boat race to raise money for the local charity, Severn Hospice. On this occasion the EntaTech team narrowly clinched victory and together the teams raised over £2000 for the charity.
