Entagroup’s headquarters are located within a unique pagoda style building which contrasts strikingly against its commercial surroundings. Built in 1996, the pagoda was designed by Ruth Tsai, the wife of Entagroup founder Jason Tsai. The building is made from genuine Taiwanese and Chinese materials including specially crafted roof tiles from Shanghai. The building cost £5million to construct and is surrounded by beautiful gardens, ornate bridges, calming waterfalls and tranquil pools which are home to over 200 Koi carp.
Located within the pagoda is something quite unique within the IT industry, a special room dedicated to Jason Tsai’s personal art collection, the Tsai gallery. It contains an eclectic collection of paintings, sculptures, carvings and antiques, all of which reflect a specific theme of East meeting West and old meeting new.
Art is not confined to the gallery however, with several of the corridors and stairwells decorated with brightly coloured, modern canvases from the artist Yi-Chen Hung and several traditional Taiwanese paintings.
