Koi Carp

A Symbol Of Success

Entagroup’s strong Taiwanese heritage is prevalent throughout the organisation and none more so than in the design of its headquarters which are based in Telford, Shropshire. The striking pagoda building is surrounded by beautiful gardens with calming waterfalls, ornate bridges and tranquil pools which are home to over 200 Koi Carp, a symbol of success and prosperity in Taiwanese culture.

The Legend of The Dragon Carp

It is told that 360 carp swam up a river. But on reaching the dragon’s gate, only one carp was able to swim over to the other side. It is also said that the successful carp who swims through the dragon’s gate can be transformed into a dragon in the instant of its leap out of the water, thus avoiding evil spirits. The legend teaches us that only the fittest and the strongest can achieve the highest goals.

This philosophy is strongly promoted throughout Entagroup. Founder and CEO Jason Tsai says “We are continually striving to be the best in every aspect of our work. By doing this we gain strength and protect ourselves from complacency and indifference as we move towards our ultimate goal. To succeed, we believe that we must not only excel, we must be the very best.”

With 20 years success in the IT and communications channels this philosophy is serving the company well.
