Entanet named finalist in Channel Awards for fourth consecutive year - Sep 2009
Leading voice and data communications provider Entanet has once again been nominated in the CRN Channel Awards category of Specialist Vendor of the Year and is hoping to claim the award once again after its previous success in both 2006 and 2007.
The CRN Channel Awards recognise commitment that suppliers make to driving business development for their channel partners. Short-lists for the awards are selected by a panel of independent judges and the winners chosen after resellers and other channel partners have been given the opportunity to vote for the company that they believe is most deserving.
Entanet has been short-listed in the Specialist Vendor of the Year category for the past four years and went on to win the accolade in both 2006 and 2007.
Entanet’s Head of Marketing, Darren Farnden, stated: “We’re really pleased to be nominated for this award once again. Over the past 12 months, Entanet has taken a number of significant steps and made strategic investments aimed at making our business even better. We have implemented our own resilient UK-wide next generation network and introduced a new portfolio of ADSL and ADSL2+ broadband products that provide the full benefits of that investment. We have made a massive commitment to our partners and their customers by becoming the first non-BT company to take the company’s Wholesale Broadband Connect, which gives Entanet a direct connection to the BT’s 21st Century Network. To date, Entanet is the only non-BT company to make that level of commitment.”
The company is continuing to update and improve its core systems, he adds. “Work on a new partner interface known as synergi is currently underway and Entanet will continue to invest in its systems and partners to ensure that we deliver the very best services and opportunities to them. We thank them for their continued loyalty and hope that they will, once again, support our nomination for the Channel Awards in 2009 and cast a vote for Entanet.”
Over recent years Entanet has received ongoing recognition for its channel commitment, high quality services and significant levels of organic growth. Throughout 2008 and 2009 it ran a special incentive to encourage partners to generate ADSL2+ broadband sales leading up to an exciting event of off-road driving. In addition to being named Specialist Vendor of the Year by CRN in 2006 and 2007, the company also achieved the awards for ‘Best IP Telephony’ and ‘Best Consumer Email’ in the 2008 ISPA Awards, and received rankings in both the Deloitte Fast 50 and Sunday Times Techtrack 100 in 2008. It has also recently been listed in the 2009 Tech Media Invest Top 100 list of innovative technology and media companies.
Entanet’s sister company, leading IT distributor, Enta Technologies has also been nominated for a CRN Channel Award in the category of Networking Distributor of the Year.
