Inter-mediates limited turned to the Telford firm to help deliver its multi-million pound package of services after its previous provider ran into financial problems. Now Inter-mediates Limited is lining up more lucrative to place with the Stafford park company. Entanet was called in at short notice to build a replica internet infrustructure to meet the demands of Inter-mediates' online brands such as Freeola.com and Getdotted.com.
The company needed a quick fix after its previous serice provider, Powernet, ran into big-money cash troubles. Freeola.com, which stands for Free online access, is an internet service provider which offers users a choice of 1,000 email addresses. They include football supporters' sites such as Englandfans.com, and a host of leisure, desination and humourous domains. The service has just won a 'Best Buy award' in n ISP comparison test carried out by pracical internet magazine and was dubbed the "Jim'll fix it of ISPs". Getdotted.com is one of the leading sellers of domain registrations in the UK. "We have been impressed by Entanet's technical capabilities, and the incredible speed at which they have worked to bring our project on-line," said Tony Rainbird, mangering director of Inter-mediates Limited. "We would now like to move forward with Entanet and Utilise their vast range of services for futher projects we have planned".
Charles Rodgers, Entanet's chief Operations officer said: "This project was very challenging, particually because of the timescales involved and the multi-faceted infrastructure of Freeola.com. However, it does demonstrate our ability to act quickly and build strong partnerships with customers wishing to use Entanet's services". Freeola has 40,000 core users with a current new sign-up ,rate of 150 perday. Entanet is part of the Enta group of companies owned by Taiwanese businessman Jason Tsai. From a standing start around five years ago, it is projecting a turnover of ? million in the coming year.
